ABOUT US
A WISH, Incorporated was established in 2013 to act as the philanthropic arm of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Gamma Mu Omega Chapter to more effectively serve the educational, scholarship, cultural, economic, and health and wellness needs of the Greater Daytona Beach Area/Volusia County, Florida.
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, non-profit service organization, A WISH, INC. is committed to hands-on community engagement and youth scholastic achievement. The organization is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Our Mission
The mission of A WISH, INC. is to provide life-enhancing programs and opportunities, as well as monetary assistance, to women, children and families so they can acquire and sustain essential life skills.
Our Objectives
The objectives of A WISH, INC. include:

Providing assistance to the women, children and families in the Greater Daytona Beach Area/Volusia County, Florida who are in need of educational, financial, and support services.

To seek, encourage and accept bequests, donations, grants, services and other appropriate assistance that can enhance our purpose and positively affect the quality of life of the citizens in our service area.
